Look at what I am doing right now. This will help in bringing traffic to my website.
Here are some ideas to consider-Most of these require ZERO money – Just time!
Create accounts on online blog sites like this and start answering questions – be helpful and put a link to your site – but be careful – do not sell your site – this is to help people like yourself.
-Make sure you check your keyword density on your pages
-Do a keyword search with google
-Create content rich pages
Insure proper Meta Coding
—Site title, Description, and keywords all work together with the content of your site.
-Index with DMOZ.org
-Creat a SiteMap for google
Pay Per Click Campaigns like Google AdWords
and there are many many more ideas! but this will get your started.

SEO is a long term goal for traffic, PPC is best if you want traffic instantly, but what other free ways?
Offering downloads and contest, offering free things like gifts incentives or other.

SEO takes a long long time, but a lot of the techniques used can also deliver traffic that is not directly from Search Engines.
You should definately read “Power Up Your Traffic” as this is 36 pages packed full of information about increasing your traffic.

There are dozens of ways to promote your website.But one thing for sure, you need to understand that your traffic must be targeted. Targeted traffic will bring more benefit to your site.
Here are some ways:
1.Article marketing.Write articles and submit them to arcticle directories.
2.Comment on other people blog.
3.Submit to directories.
4.Submit your site to social networking site like digg.com
5.Offer something valuable
6.Distribute free ebook
7.Posting on forum.
