I Want To Put An Ppc Advert On Yahoo/ Google, But The Advertiser Doesn’t Want Me To Use Their Url. What To Do?
PPC July 7th, 2009I don’t have my own website, but Google and Yahoo! insist that I put a valid url on the advert. However, the advertiser insists that I don’t use their url (which I really don’t understand, because I’m driving traffic to their site in any case.
Anyone have any ideas what I should put in google/yahoo!?

Why will you want to SPEND MONEY promoting other people’s website? Is this some affiliate program that you joined into?
Many trademark and copyright holders don’t want their affiliates to use their website. This is because they don’t want to compete for the same terms with their own affiliates — and maybe end up paying more than they should because of increased competition.
If the trademark owner does not want you to use their website, then your alternatives include:
(a) choose a different affiliate program
(b) create your own website first and promote it, rather than promoting other people’s sites
