Is There A Program To Drain/ Refill A Battery On A Mac Laptop?
PPC January 31st, 2010I have a Mac Powerbook G4, and it needs to have the battery reconditioned. I only get an hour of battery life out of it. I had an old IBM once that I would just plug in, and open a program, and it would charge and discharge the battery, and it would add a little more time to the battery. (it did this several times in a row) and I just want to know if there is a program like this for Mac.
(specs of my laptop are: 1GHz PPC G4, 768MB of RAM, 120GB hard drive. its a 12″ model)
Thanks in advance!

I have no idea about your problem… But I can leave a site about PC accesories, have a look at it and check if you find what you look for: http://www.supermaxmedia.com
Bye and best wishes!

I don’t think so, I’ve never heard of one but that doesn’t mean there are some.
You should try resetting PRAMhttp://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?…
and calibrate the battery.http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?…
If you haven’t downloaded and installed the PB G4 Battery Updater, run Software Update to download it. After installing it you will need to launch it from the Utilities folder to run it.

Try compleatly draining the battery of juice, unplug it then plug it back in and recharge it.
