Is There A Way Of Tricking My Imac G4 Into Thinking It’s An Intel Machine?
PPC December 9th, 2009I’ve looked around and found nothing.
I was trying to run Parallels. My friend told me he was pretty sure it’s Universal, but Installer says different.
So I tried using Pacifist, and extracted the applications. It would not run them, it said “You cannot open the application ‘Parallels Desktop’ because it is not supported on this system.”
So I was thinking that maybe there is some application I could run it through, similar to how Rosetta lets Intel machines use PPC-only apps.
Any advice?

If you want to run a virtual machine on a PPC (that’s what Parallels does for Intel Macs ONLY), you’d need something like Guest PC (first link in sources list) or Microsoft Virtual PC 6 for Mac.
As for a software to run Intel apps on PPC, sorry, I don’t know of any.
