First I have a question: Do YOU make the things you sell or are they made elsewhere by people you’ve never met ?
If your products are from , say a drop shipper, then you shouldn’t try this, but if you make them or have a company that employs people to make them exclusively for you ….. then I would suggest looking at craftgossip.com .
You could send them a product sample of an item that is either NEW or simply your best selling flagship product. Locate the appropriate person there and ask for a product review.
That could open a large audience to your site.
Hope that helps.
Mike
P.S. If that works with one site , how many more highly trafficked craft sites are out there that would love to review YOUR products.
P.S.S.Remember: that’s the key – they must not come from China or a drop shipper in New Jersey (or wherever), they must be your own.

One more is Viral marketing
This kind of marketing technique is similar to word of mouth advertising in the offline world. The idea is to encourage your existing traffic to bring more traffic to your website.
The following traffic strategies all fall under viral advertising technique:
- Offer your products’ affiliate program, including finding joint venture partners
- Place a Tell-a-friend script on your website – see related link for free widget.
- Distribute viral screensaver, software or ebooks
Success in viral advertising depends a lot on your ability to create a buzz in your community. You need to package your product into something that is unique and interesting so that people are interested in spreading the words for you.

Try putting some listings on ebay, and amazon with a link to your store. You can also try writing reviews of some of your more popular books on sites like http://www.hubpages.com/knslms1 and http://www.ezinearticles.com with a link to your site.
Never ever ever ever use traffic exchanges they actually hurt you in the search engines, and there’s no point because the visitors are there for 14 seconds and gone, if they aren’t buying anything than why bother? Of course his site is #1 when you do a search for the exact domain name, but try putting in sewing and finding that site. What real customer would search for sewtuff???? SPAM!
