What Do I Need To Know Before Signing Up With Google Adsense (help, Please)?
PPC February 27th, 2010I already know a bit about it.
I know that I won’t get a check right away if I don’t have a lot of traffic.
I know that I won’t recieve a check for each month if my monthly income does not amount to $100.
I know that I may recieve as little as one cent per click/view.
I know that my income will be reported to the IRS if it is over $600 a year and I will therefore have to pay taxes.
I know that I have to be 18 or older to sign up, otherwise I should have a parent or someone I can trust with my money sign up for me.
What are some other things I should know? I want to know the things that people who have used Google AdSense have learned from experience.
Thanks.

You will see clicks without revenue. Don’t waste your time getting upset.
Don’t click your ads. Don’t ask others too. Don’t tell family or friends about your websites, they may want to “help you” by clicking ads.
The AdSense forums can be helpful.
Don’t pay for any AdSense help. There are plenty of free guides.
Routinely change your ad size, locations and type for optimization.
I have better luck with text ads rather than image.
The 250 x 250, 300 x 250 and 336 x 250 are the best working ads for me if centered. The side bar skyscrapers are so-so. Link units are okay because they add an additional ad (you are limited to three link ad units per page). Use them in odd spaces or corners.
Use the ad filter.
Include the search boxes. That is revenue piece most publishers forget.
Don’t go overboard with “too many ads and not enough content”. Content is king.
Hope this helps,

First you have a site or a blog where the ads can be placed and viewed. And the content of the site or blog should be nice. You can increase the qualtiy by using the google adwords.

First of all Good Question.
My Dear Friends.
Not only for you. But I will tell this for all my friends.
Friends first of all
Google Adsene is free to Join Programme. You cannot pay single penny for Google Adsense.
Most of the website offering Google adsense programme on Internet are fraud, scam or cheat whatever way you like to call.
I don’t want to tell these websites names. I just tell you one thing you just type the name of the website (scam websites) name in the Address bar of your web-browser. It shows website not found. Because they are cheating you. Once they achieve the particular amount earnings. They close their website and run away with your money is the present situation.
None of these website take Direct Class for Google Adsense.
Because they don’t have real proof or so called Web SEO Knowledge or Google adsense topics list and so on. They simply ask you 49 dollars and Rs.1250 Indian money and simply send one useless CD and worthless Book by courier. That book is fit for nothing because, in that book already earned members thro adsense only given. How they earned from adsense their technique not given. So it is utter waste of your hard earned money.
You can try this website (this is only my suggestion) Because here you can learn Google Adsense directly (not thro books or cd) Live training always help you most.
