When Can I Get A Url Tracker For My Google Adwords Campaigns?
PPC May 31st, 2009When I get a sale through one of my Adwords ads, I want to see which ad the sale came from. Is this what a URL tracker is? Where can I get this?

try checking out google analytic. it is tracking tools for sites. i didn’t use adwords so i’m not sure of it. but from the videos tour they say they provides adwords campaign tracking. from the videos they say you can sign out google analytic from your google adwords account. but i believe this tools can only track click not sale.

You can place a Google AdWords tracking code on your “thank you” (order confirmation) page, and then the Google interface will track this for you. You can also use the full Google Analytics.
There are other solutions, depending on the technology you’re using. For example, if you have an affiliate program or other system that lets you append some kind of URL parameter, you may be able to track that way. (ShareASale uses the “afftrack=” parameter, MyAP/Kowabunga uses the “sub=” parameter for this).
