Yahoo! Search Marketing Help!!!?
PPC December 31st, 2009Yahoo is really ticking me off. I have had yahoo search marcketing (pay per click) for a few months and I want to be able to use up all the credits that are stored in my account and not have them charge me anymore! When I have lots of money store in my account, I get an email from them saying “we charged your credit card to add more funds to your account” I don’t even need them! So, I want to discontinue this, be able to finsih off all my credits stored and be done with it. Any ideas on how to do this?

The learning curve takes a bit of time : ( if it was simple to figure out the right balance between spend amount and conversions, SEO companies wouldn’t be making the big cash they are!
As for your account charges here is an explanation of what is happening:
Setting Up Account Funding
Every time your balance is low*, your payment source (PayPal account or credit card) will be charged the charge amount you specify to ensure that your account is not turned off. Please note that your payment source may be charged multiple times until your account balance reaches at least the prior 3 days worth of click charges, or 3 times your account daily spending limit , whichever is lower.
*Note: Your account balance is low if it falls below the prior 3 days worth of click charges. The prior 3 days worth of click charges or 3 times your account daily spending limit, whichever is lower, must be available in your account at all times in order to keep your ads online.
To set up account funding:
1. Click the Administration tab > Accounts subtab.
* If you have one account, the Account Summary page opens.
* If you have more than one account, identify the account to manage and click the Account link. The Account Summary page opens.
2. Click the Edit link in the Payment Method field. The Account Payment Information page opens.
3. If you have not already done so, select an active payment type for your account.
4. View the current charge amount for your account. This amount was set during sign up.
5. If you would like to specify a new charge amount, select the checkbox.
6. Enter a new charge amount in the New Charge Amount field.

2. If I cancel my Yahoo! Search Marketing account what happens to any unused, pre-paid amounts that have been charged to my credit card or PayPal account?
Upon your written request, any unused, pre-paid amount left on your account after account cancellation will be refunded to the credit card or PayPal account that was used for payment. Credits are refunded to your credit card or PayPal account within 3 – 5 business days.
Account cancellation is processed at the time of your call. However, your final refund credit may reflect charges for additional clicks occurring between the initial call for cancellation and reasonable lag times for processing of your cancellation.
3. What if my pre-payments were made by check?
Upon your written request, pre-payments made by check will be refunded in a check sent via first class U.S. Mail. The typical time for your refund to be processed is within 4 – 6 weeks. This processing time range does not include U.S. Postal Service routing times.
